News and Announcements

The Littleton Symphony Orchestra Announces 2025–2026 Season: Songs of Nature

The Littleton Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce its 2025–2026 concert season: Songs of Nature — a year-long celebration of the natural world and the music it inspires. From epic outdoor concerts in August to majestic symphonic performances through May, this season invites audiences to experience the beauty, power, and serenity of nature through unforgettable musical storytelling.

Under the direction of Music Director and Conductor Catherine Sailer, the LSO’s thoughtfully curated programs will explore themes such as Earth, Peace, Flow, Joy, and Light — each reflecting a different facet of our connection to the natural world. Whether you're basking in the glow of a summer sunset or soaking in the warmth of a winter concert hall, Songs of Nature promises to move your heart and lift your spirit.

Join us for this inspiring journey as the Littleton Symphony continues its 42-year tradition of excellence, community, and artistic passion.

Please welcome Littleton Symphony Orchestra’s new Music Librarian, Joni Anderson!

Joni grew up in Englewood, Colorado and has been performing French horn and teaching horn
professionally since 2008. Joni is LSO’s second horn player and has performed with us since
2021. She also plays fourth horn in the Parker Symphony Orchestra. Joni received her Bachelors
of Music in horn performance from Cornell College (IA) in 2008 and her Masters of Music from
the Lamont School of Music (University of Denver) in 2010. Her favorite composers are John
Williams, Mahler, Shostakovich, and Tchaikovsky. When not teaching or practicing her horn,
Joni loves hiking and doing jigsaw puzzles.
